Very clean and well presented. Good facilities in room. All staff we had dealings with were friendly and courteous.
Lack of leisure facilities ie. health/beauty.
The staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. The food was good and arrived at my room at the time it was ordered for. Free internet meant I could work in the evening. All in all, a very good place to stay.
I had hoped to have a room with a bath - mine was shower only.
The rooms were well proportioned and luxurious. The staff were friendly and very helpful.
Very friendly staff, and location was brilliant with lovely views and grounds to walk in
Very good staff and pleasant surroundings
The facilities for smokers were an insult and absolutely appallling when most pubs in slums do better as of course most hotels do too. Those at the wedding that was going on when we were there were equally disgusted on this issue. All my comments herein are all subject to this one criticism.
We were staying at Crathorne Hall as we were attending a wedding there. After driving up from London on the morning of our stay we had some terrible weather which resulted in some of the motorway's having very big traffic jams / closing etc and we ended up arriving at the hotel 20 minutes before the ceremony was due to start. The staff were really helpful and checked us in super fast and carried our belongings up to our room for us - not even hanging round for a tip! The room was lovely and we had a nice comfortable sleep. It was great having everything we needed in our room and the views from the hotel are amazing. We will definitely stay there again when we are in the area.
All of the staff we were in contact with were very friendly and very helpful. The room was beautiful, much more than expected. Absolutely fabulous, couldn't have wished for more
A luxury, comfortable hotel. We felt at home. The grounds are stunning and the staff were warm and helpful. Will definitely recommend this hotel.
of the beaten track nice location
forgotten last time I slept in 4 star hotel with 4.6" bed need to upgrade to king size.
Excellent range of food available. Beautiful location
Our room only had one chair this meant I had to relax on the bed. My husband has had a liver transplant and needs to sit properly.
Huge bathroom, friendly check in staff, attentive waitresses at breakfast
No-one at the door to take cases. Were we in a refurbished room?hard to tell-dark carpets, poor lighting. Inneffective shower head
Service was excellent, staff very attentive and good overall value for money
Location of the bedroom facing the rear courtyard - noisy at times when staff dumping bar debris also smell and noise from Kitchen fan
Bed was tiny/ suitable for a child! Arrived at 10.30 and even though guests still in restaurant would only serve cold sandwiches All in all terrible experience
Lovely property in a beautiful setting, helped by the gorgeous Spring evening. Dinner and breakfast were both very good.
Staff were polite and reasonably helpful, extras like walking wellies umbrellas were a good addition
Not as advertised, small room, shower half blocked by toilet, no bath, no DVDs player and smart connectivity to tv didn't work.
